The Florida Reapers are happy to announce our partnership with the best training facility in SWFL Redline Fort Myers!
Our athletes will be doing their speed / agility training exclusively with the amazing trainers at Redline’s state of the art facility and we couldn’t be happier to have their support to help build our travel ball program!
This kind of training is what separates our athletes from the rest and we’re excited to see their development over the next few months!

florida reapers 3rd grade wins at hoopfluence aau mlk king of the court
The Florida Reapers 3rd Grade 2034 team took home the Silver Bracket chip at the Hoopfluence AAU MLK King of the Court January 18-19th in Coral Springs, FL! The team went 3-1 on the weekend with their only loss being by two to a really tough Thunder Elite team! Huge improvements were made across the board and Coach Ted really has the group dialed in and ready for the thick of AAU season!
Our Florida Reapers 6th Grade 2031 team also took the floor for the first time this weekend! The team played tough and competed well against some of the best teams in the state, but fell short in the semi’s of the Bronze Bracket. The group has a ton to improve on and will look to bounce back next weekend!
Florida Reapers 3rd grade finishes 2nd at Hoopfluence aau jingle jam
The Florida Reapers 3rd Grade 2034 team kicked off their season and our programs FIRST TOURNAMENT EVER at the Hoopfluence AAU Jingle Jam December 7-8th in Coral Springs, FL! The team played great, going 3-1 on the weekend and finishing 2nd in the Gold Bracket! They played in some really tight games and showed tremendous resiliency winning all 3 games by 6 points combined! We’re extremely proud of the group and can’t wait to see their progress as the season goes on!

The Florida Reapers are happy to announce the addition of our NEW 2031 6th Grade / 12u Head Coach Nate Golson!
Coach Golson brings a ton of coaching experience and a passion for player development to the Reapers! Nate played his high school ball at Cypress Lake High School under Coach Anthony Paez. After school he held coaching opportunities at Three Oaks Middle School and Cypress Lake High School and is currently the boys JV / Freshman Head Coach at Estero High School. Additionally he’s pursuing a career in education and also runs a competitive men’s league in his free time.
We’re extremely excited for what Nate brings to our program and look forward to what’s to come for his group of kids!
FLORIDA REAPERS X COACH PAEZ
The Florida Reapers are excited to announce that our team will be pairing with current FSW Assistant Coach Anthony Paez for all our teams external training!
Paez enters his ninth season on the Bucs bench in 2024-2025. In his eight seasons with FSW, the Bucs have gone 199-44 including three straight undefeated Suncoast Conference Championships from 2018-2020 and have seen 47 graduates move on to the Division I level.
A retired professional basketball player, Paez spent multiple seasons abroad playing in Denmark, the United Kingdom, Germany, Hungary, Austria, and Spain. Prior to international play, Paez played Division I basketball at Stephen F. Austin State University graduating with a Bachelors in Kinesiology & Exercise Science with a concentration in Nutrition. No stranger to Juco basketball, Paez also captured championships along with All-American accolades as a player with Central Florida Community College.
We’re excited to have the opportunity to have one of the areas best coaches help develop our young players throughout this upcoming season!

Florida Reapers X FSW Bucs
The Florida Reapers are proud to announce our partnership with the FSW Bucs Basketball program for this upcoming basketball season!
Our teams will be doing external training EXCLUSIVELY with some of the AMAZING coaches on the FSW coaching staff!
Also, all of our teams will have the opportunity to play at half time at some of the Bucs games throughout the upcoming season!
We look forward to the opportunity this season and can’t wait to get out and support the 2024-2025 FSW Bucs teams!

Our teams this season will get a home (red) and away (black) uniform set with a shooting hoodie and team bag!
The uniforms incorporate the phrases we use to define “Reapers Culture”, and are inspired by the Miami Heat Culture uniforms!
This is just the beginning! We have a ton of BIG things coming for our organization this season!
fLORIDA rEAPERS X cOACH TED OBOUTE
The Florida Reapers are happy to announce the addition of our NEW 2034 / 9u Head Coach Ted Oboute! Coach Ted is a former collegiate & semi-pro basketball player with a strong background in leadership & team success! He was a starter & captain on consecutive district championship teams at Charlotte High School and went on to play NAIA Division II basketball at Bluefield College. There he contributed to back-to-back AAC regular season championships & a national tournament appearance!
After earning a degree in Exercise / Sports Science, Coach Ted went on to compete at the semi-professional level in the National Basketball League of Canada & the ABA with the Gainsville Heat! We’re extremely excited for what he brings to our younger group and are thankful for his commitment to the Reapers Program! Welcome to the family Coach!
